On Tuesday, January 12th, a 7.0 earthquake hit the nation of Haiti, leaving thousands dead and millions without food, water, shelter and medical assistance.
From July 10-17, a team of 70 students and adults from Central Massachusetts (including 16 from Pleasant Street) will travel to Leogane, Haiti to help a strategic ministry that currently serves over 800 students and hundreds of families through housing projects, schools, medical clinics and an orphanage
Here's how you can help:
Support TEAM HAITI.
There are a number of ways you can support our Short Term Mission Team:
1) PRAY for our team and its members. (A complete list is below)
2) DONATE to our team fund to help reduce the cost of the trip for the participants. The cost of the trip is approximately $1100 per person. This cost does not include other expenses such as vaccinations and Travel Visas. To make a donation, write a check to PSCRC, memo: Haiti Team.
