Worship with us remotely at youtube.com/@pscrc/streams.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together,as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:24,25 (NIV)
Pleasant Street Church values and promotes a communal worship experience as we gather together each Sunday morning. But what about those who cannot come to 25 Cross Street and sit in a pew near you? An alternative for those who cannot attend in person and have internet access is to tune in to the livestream. This is a live broadcast of the service where participants are more than just viewing the service, but also engaging with others in live chat and getting that front row seat experience as it is happening. It IS meeting together, as anyone knows who has joined in expressing greetings and encouraging words in comments during the service.
Being together is having a shared experience, at the same time, and engaging with each other in that experience. Being there in person has its advantages, but today technology also allows us to “meeting together” even though many miles apart. Pleasant Street Church is grateful that we can be a community worshipping together, across the pew, across town, across the country, or across the world. Meeting together. Encouraging one another. As we are called to do.
