The Way of The Kingdom?

As we continue on the way of the cross with Christ our King during this season of Lent, we'll glimpse a flashback to the beginning of Jesus' public preaching ministry and listen again to His Beatitudes in Matthew's Gospel. May we wonder with humility and hope at how being poor in spirit, peacemaking, and persecuted is the Way of this King and His Kingdom. And may we seek to follow and worship Jesus as the Savior of the world who truly loves and lays down His life for His friends and His enemies (i.e. people like us).
